Mel Driver – The Easy Skincare Routine For Busy Women

How often have you gone to bed still wearing your makeup? My guess is one too many times?

Maintaining a skincare routine seems to be one of the most difficult tasks for busy women.

We all want to have healthy, flawless skin but sometimes the hurly-burly of work does not leave us enough time for much else. And so, we find ourselves wanting to maintain healthy skin but lacking the time to do so.

Conscious of your busy itinerary, I have prepared this five-minute skincare guide just for you.

A three-step beauty regimen that will help you maintain a clear and glowing complexion without having to spend hours in the bathroom.

Ready? Let’s dive in!

3 Basic Step by Step

Skincare Routine For Busy Women

1.   Begin By Cleansing Your Face

The first essential step in any skincare routine is to cleanse your face morning and night.

Cleansing helps to remove dirt and impurities from your skin and leaves your facial skin clear, soft and smooth.

Using lukewarm water, wash your face with a gentle cleanser in the morning and later at night before bedtime. Try not to use traditional soaps when washing your face as the irritants can strip your skin of natural oils and make your face feel dry.

Ensure the cleanser you use is chemical-free. There are many natural or organic cleansers that will leave your skin aglow and radiant.

2.   Protect Your Skin With A Toner

Even the most efficient cleanser doesn’t always pick up all the dirt on your face. A facial toner helps to remove everything the cleanser left behind, balances your pH level.

Toners also help to refine the pores on your skin. They help with inflammation and redness, keep pimples and breakouts. The right toner even rehydrates your skin.

Apply toner with a cotton pad and wipe all over your face and neck after cleansing.

3.   Hydrate Your Skin Using a Moisturiser

The final step in your skincare routine you need to adopt even as a busy woman is to moisturise your face. This is quite important if you want to maintain healthy and supple skin.

Moisturising your face helps to hydrate your skin and keep it soft and succulent. This should be done both in your morning and evening skincare routine after cleansing and toning.

It should also be done before you apply your foundation or sunscreen.

There are many different moisturisers for different skin types. I recommend opting for a light weight moisturiser that allows you to apply makeup or sunscreen on top.

A good moisturiser should not leave your skin dry and tight but soft, smooth and hydrated.

As a busy woman, keeping to a regular skincare routine can be quite a challenge. This is especially when it is a rigorous beauty regimen. I definitely prefer a simple and less arduous routine.

Try this and see your skin’s health improve in the shortest imaginable time.
