Sounds Of Summer Original Bumble Bee & Oregano Painting

I’ve such fond memories of this beautiful Summer’s day and of this single bumble bee buzzing merrily around these pungent yet fluffy white booms of the oregano in our herb garden. Little did this tiny bumble bee know it had shared it’s carefree happiness and had inspired me to capture this moment on canvas.

Another gentle reminder of the delicate balance of nature and the decline of bee’s around the planet. Where would we be without bumble bee’s in our world it would change the whole eco system as we know it.

The Face Behind The Palette Knife

Hi there, I’m Jacqueline Rose and have been painting for a number of years. I’ve experimented with lots of different mediums and have found acrylics work for me when I’m creating a piece of artwork. I love colours and textures and find working with my palette knife can make the paint appear to be lifting off the canvas. I let the images unfold before me on the canvas and enjoy the freedom of this flow state.

Art I feel has the power to heal or evoke emotions. My goal is that when you purchase a piece from me it will bring a smile and uplift your mood, or transport you to another place but more importantly bring some positive energy into your home or office space.
