My Thoughts Behind A New Moon

This original acrylic painting by me Jacqueline Rose was created in January 2022 was part of my “Seascape” Collection. I’ve created this piece mainly with a palette knife to give a textured finish that makes the colours speak to you when captured in different lights.

There is something magical about a full moon don’t you think? For me it evokes thoughts of the goals achieved and represents completion, the height of power, the realisation of your desires and the peak of clarity. It’s a time to celebrate your growth, take note of what progress you have made and to reflect on how far you’ve come.

About The Artist

Hi there, I’m Jacqueline and have been painting for a number of years with lots of different mediums and have found acrylics work for and with me when I’m creating a piece of artwork. I love working with my palette knife to make the paint appear to be lifting off the canvas in all the excitement of new beginnings as the images unfold before me on the canvas.

I believe art has the power to heal or evoke emotions. My goal is that when you purchase a piece from me it will bring a smile and uplift your mood, or transport you to another place but more importantly bring some positive energy into your home or office space. This is my gift to you.
